Small Space Modern Bathroom

Transforming a small, cramped bathroom into an open and functional space by rearranging the floor plan and using bright white finishes.

Before: Crowded Bathroom

Designer Jennifer Jones tackled one of the tiniest bathrooms she had ever seen. She had to figure out how to fit a standard tub, toilet and sink into a bathroom that is less than 6×6 feet.

After: Functional Bathroom

The first task for this remodel was to create a more functional layout. Jones moves the toilet to the back wall and hangs a cabinet above it for extra storage. The sink is moved to the adjacent wall and she selects a wall-mounted one that doesn’t take up any floor space.

Sleek Tub

The homeowners needed to keep a tub since they’re planning on starting a family soon. Jones selects a contemporary option with glass doors that will fit their needs without looking clunky in the space.

Accent Wall

Mosaic glass tiles extend from the floor to the ceiling to create a dramatic accent wall. Natural light comes in from the skylight, highlighting the beautiful tiles.

Extra Storage

With the wall-mounted sink, a medicine cabinet is a must-have. The oval inset cabinet stores all the essentials and has a mirror for primping.
